What is Huthmaker Violins doing about COVID-19?

Inside the Shop:

Our work is exacting and demanding and may take longer than you expect.

  • Wiping down all touch surfaces between each customer
  • Cleaning frogs, fingerboards and chinrests of all instruments regularly
  • After an instrument or bow has been played or handled by a customer, they are quarantined for a minimum of three days

For Customer Safety and Comfort:

  • We offer free masks for your convenience, should you choose to wear one
  • We offer four kinds of service
    1. Curb-side service
    2. Front porch service
    3. On-line service with delivery
    4. In-person service

Staff Safety

  • We are requiring mask usage at all times
  • We are requiring hand washing between customers
  • We offer paid time-off for any staff that feels ill
  • We require social distancing at all times
